PAO Multi-Reticle Red Green Reflex Sight

Picatinny-fit – for Air Rifle and Air Pistol

This PAO Multi-Reticle Red Green Reflex Sight comes with an integral Picatinny clamp for wider type rails (will suit Weaver). It is available in both Black and Sand finishesIt will suit both air rifles and air pistols. However, if your airgun has a standard ‘Airgun’ (11mm / 3/8″) dovetail, you will need this mount adapter base).

Please note: There is also an 11mm Airgun rail version available in Black only.

Why choose a Reflex Sight?

The biggest single advantage of a reflex sight is the lack of an eye relief. This means that your head can be positioned anywhere, at any angle, you can keep both eyes open while shooting. This makes the PAO Multi-Reticle Red Green Reflex Sight suitable for use on both an air rifle or air pistol. On either, it is extremely easy to acquire your target.

Because the PAO Multi-Reticle Red Green Reflex Sight has no body tube like a conventional ‘scope’, it is super-lightweight and ultra-compact. It measures just 8.2cm long and weighs in at a miserly 115 grams! So it will not upset the balance of your airgun.

Multi-Reticle

The PAO Multi-Reticle Red Green Reflex Sight features no fewer than four reticles to aim with. Use the small wheel at the back of the Reflex Sight to select a combination of dots, crosses and circles (see illustration), measuring 3 or 10MOA.

Not only can you choose between red or green reticles, but each colour also has five intensity settings. This means you will be able to see the reticle on any type of target and against any type of background!

Adjustment

You zero-in the PAO Multi-Reticle Red Green Reflex Sight like you would a conventional scope. It offers both elevation and windage adjustments, via hex tool (supplied).

Service from this retailer was excellent, with good communication and swift delivery via Royal Mail. The scope itself is as described, well engineered and comes complete with a cleaning cloth and allen keys in addition to the items described above.

I bought this Red Dot after seeing it reviewed on YouTube. I have no need for such a sight on my air rifle but it looked just the thing for Practical Mini-Rifle on my 22LR, so I ordered one to try. Unfortunately the first one disappeared from the envelope sometime during the first delivery, but a replacement was promptly dispatched and arrived the next day (in time for my booked range zeroing session – very impressive customer service). Fitment was easy (my 22Lr comes with a Picatinny rail), as was zeroing. I was particularly impressed by the definition of the reticle on the lowest power, which is fine for most indoor ranges – it does blow out a little on higher levels but I find it adequately bright on the lowest setting anyway. At this setting, it is very fine and does not obscure a 1″ bullseye from 25M. The choice of reticles is also quite nice and I am looking forward to trying it on a standard gallery rifle target – if it works well, I might not bother to re-install the telescopic sight for that discipline, at least to 25M anyway.
The big test was seeing how it handled a full Postal League set of stages in Practical Mini-Rifle, which it did with flying colours last night. No indication of any change in mounting or POA whatsoever.
So in summary, I am very happy. This is a great sight for the price and it makes dynamic shooting disciplines far easier (both eyes open etc). It seems to have no problem with the recoil level from my 22LR (which admittedly is probably less than my springer air rifle). I am actually rather tempted to try it on a shotgun for Practical and Target Shotgun.
