So, we have completely re-engineered the site, including a new, shorter and easier to remember URL that is ‘smart device’ friendly.” said Mike Hurney, Chairman, TSP.
“The site now includes a full inventory of our used airgun stock, that is updated daily, which allows consumers to buy airguns on-line either nominating their preferred RFD to process the transfer, or specifying collection from our retail showroom. If the purchase is to be completed via a transfer to another RFD, the system allows a simple ‘one click’ operation that charges a low fixed fee of £35 that includes courier transport to the chosen RFD and their fee for processing the transfer. This has become increasingly important since the launch of our ‘Don’t Surrender-Sell!’ campaign in Scotland, following the introduction of mandatory airgun licensing there. We are buying, for cash, at current market value, all types of sub-12ft/lb. airguns, Rifles or Pistols, PCP, Springers or CO2 and once condition and price has been agreed, we arrange collection anywhere in Scotland -at our cost. Once the unwanted guns are received and inspected, full payment is being made the same day. The response has been overwhelming and we have concluded scores of transactions. On some days we can get over half a dozen enquiries-this has led to a significant increase in our stock of highly desirable used guns at very attractive prices.
