So, firstly we finished it in ‘Woodland’ camo to better blend with the hunters other kit and secondly we provided two power sources-a side mounted solar panel that will fully power the Range Finder during normal daylight conditions and a re-chargeable CR2 battery that is constantly ‘topped up’ by the solar panel-so the shooter never needs to buy a battery again, or worry that the Range Finder suddenly ‘dies’ whilst in use in the field ” said Gill Peters, Managing Director of Range Right.
“By selecting ‘VHM’ (‘Vertical Height Mode’) you can calculate how high the target is in relation to the shooter-perfect for ranging that roosting pigeon or tiresome tree-rat. Weighing in at only 175g and being extremely compact, measuring only 95 x 70 x 33mm, the Solar 600 is ideal for carrying round a shooters neck on the lanyard provided.
